Motor Homes: Should You Rent or Should You Buy?

image thumb1 Motor Homes: Should You Rent or Should You Buy?Are you interested in using a motor home to travel across the country or for a camping adventure?  If you are, you may be interested in buying your own motor home. While it is more than possible for you to buy your own motor home, do you know that buying a motor home isn’t your only option?  In addition to buying your own motor home for a cross country trip or a camping adventure, you can also rent a motor home.

If this is your first time attempting to go motor home camping or on a trip across the country, you may be unsure as to whether you should buy your own motor home or rent one.  One of the easiest ways for you to make your decision is to examine the pros and cons of both buying your own motor home or renting one. A few of the most influential pros and cons are outlined below.

If given a choice, many of those individuals who want or need to use a motor home would like to buy their own.  For many individuals, there is just something about buying a new motor home and being the first owner of it. When you want to buy a new motor home, you will find that it is a little bit easier to shop for exactly what you are looking for. Of course, it is possible to come across some great used motor homes, but for the largest selection of motor homes to choose from, you may want to think about buying new.

Although it is nice owning your own motor home, there are a number of cons or downsides to doing so as well. One of those downsides is the cost. Motor homes can be expensive to buy. While many used motor homes are much more affordable than new ones, the cost can still be quite high. If you are able to afford the cost of buying your own motor home, you may want to think about doing so.  However, if you are unsure as to whether or not you can afford a new or even a used motor home, you may want to examine Motor Home Rentals.

One of the many reasons why motor home rentals are so popular is because they are affordable.  Instead of buying your own motor home, you are just renting one from someone else for the time being. This is great if you are taking your first cross country trip or if you are going on your first motor home camping adventure.  Buying a motor home can be expensive, especially if you unsure as to whether or not a motor home is really want you want.  That is why a large number of individuals make the decision to rent a motor home first.  Many who were satisfied with their experiences later buy their own motor homes and you can do the same as well.

Another one of the many plus sides to renting a motor home instead of buying one is the fact that the motor home isn’t yours.  While this may seem like it is a disadvantage, it actually be considered an advantage. When you rent you a motor home, you are just renting it for the time being. This means that you are not responsible for any mechanical repairs or any updates that may need to be made. This, alone, can save you a considerable amount of money.

As for the con or downside to renting a motor home instead of owning one, the main downside is the freedom that you have. When buying a motor home, you have more motor homes to choose from. In the United States, you should be able to find a number of motor home rental stations, but they tend to be limited only to certain areas and the selection of available motor homes is often small. This means that if you were looking for something in particular, you may not be able to find what you were looking for in a rental.

The above mentioned pros and cons are just a few of the many that you may want to take into consideration, when trying to determine if you should buy your own motor home or rent one. While the decision is yours to make, you should take the time to make sure that the decision you do make is the best one for you and your needs.

How to Find a Motor Home Dealer

300px 1941 Flxible Clipper motor Home %281%29 How to Find a Motor Home Dealer

Image via Wikipedia

Are you interested in becoming a motor home owner?  If you, you will find that there are a number of different ways that you can go about finding a motor home to buy.  For instance, you can often find motor homes for sale along the side of the road, in newspaper classified sections, and at motor home dealerships. Speaking of motor home dealers, you will find that motor home dealers are one of the best ways to go about finding and buying a motor home.

Although it is nice to know that motor home dealers are one of the places that you should look, when looking to buy a new or used motor home, you may be wondering exactly how you can go about finding a motor home dealer.  In all honesty, you will find that it depends on where you live.  As motor home camping and motor home travel increases in popularity, a large number of motor home dealerships are turning up all across the country.  This means that there is now a good chance that you will have at least one motor home dealer in or around your area.

Since there is a good chance that a motor home dealer operates in or around the area in which you live, you may want to try and use your local phone book to find some of those motor home dealers. In the back of your local phone book should be the business directory section or the yellow pages.  This section is where you should be able to find the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of local motor home dealers.  Often times, you will find motor home dealers located under the heading of “motor home sales,” or “motor homes.”

Another one of the many ways that you can find motor home dealers is by using the internet. What is nice about using the internet is that there a number of different approaches that you can take. For instance, you can perform a standard internet search. When performing a standard internet search, you may want to search with phrases like “new motor homes for sale,” or “used motor homes for sale.”  If you would like to buy a motor home from a specific area, like your state, you will want to incorporate that location into your internet search.

In addition to using a standard internet search, you can also try using online phone books and online business directories.  When you use online phone books and online business directories, you can search for a particular business, like a motor home dealer, in a particular city and state, like New York.  An online phone book should give you the names, the addresses, and the telephone numbers of local motor home dealers.  An online business directory will give you similar results, but if the motor home dealer in question has as online website, you should get the address to that online website.

Another way that you can go about finding motor home dealers is by just driving around.  If you have time to spare, this can be a little fun and exciting adventure for you.  Motor home dealers are often found along populated streets; therefore, they should be easy to spot.  If you have nearby campground park, you are more likely to find local motor home dealers in or around your area.

Asking those that you know for recommendations is another one of the many ways that you can go about finding motor home dealers.  If you know of anyone, like a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor who has recently bought a motor home, you may want to think about asking them for information on where they made their motor home purchase from. Even if someone that you know hasn’t purchased a motor home themselves, they may have come across a motor home dealer in their travels.

The above mentioned ways are just a few of the many ways that you can go about finding motor home dealers.  As a reminder, motor home dealerships are just one of the many places where you can find motor homes for sale.

Question by racerizme: Going to court (I’m 15) for driving an unregistered motor vehicle with no license?
Ohay guys, I’m 15, live in Sugar Land, Texas. Going to court this Thursday for driving… well, said above. I was riding a 40cc gasoline powered scooter.

I have been hassled continuously by the same officer (three times actually), first for a go kart (illegal, didn’t know, I was 13… stopped riding it). Then the second time for a ELECTRIC SCOOTER (even though in the state of Texas, it is PERFECTLY legal), and the third time on a 29cc scooter (which he claimed he would write a ticket for and have it “towed” away??)

After him screaming at me for some idiotic reason and telling me I was a danger to society, ect, I calmly told him of the general “49cc and under law” that required no license/registration, ect, and was let off with a warning… whereas he told me to just “ride it back home” (WTF?)

Anywho, this other officer pulled me over the other day for… (read the title). Court scheduled, I am relatively ready. Practicing my story, and on the contrary, I am EAGER to go to court.

I have documentation from the DPS, DMV, and if that doesn’t do it, the federal import laws for scooters that say it is 100% legal – and documentation from the manufacturer’s website about the specifications for my scooter.

Am I missing anything? Any tips? I will most likely be going in… those shirts that you button up, and my normal sneakers/pants (not jeans), shirt tucked in.

This is my very first “offense”. I am an AP, Honor roll, ect. student.
Hey Rock, I could give less of a crap what you think. I’ve done my research, some other “morons” are telling other juvenile kids to bring in their damn report cards TO court. I’m just putting in whatever I feel might boost my chances of winning this case. I appreciate your opinion, but I don’t appreciate your sarcasm. Thanks anywho.

If You are Looking to Buy a Used Motor Home

Buying a Used Motor Home

What to look for in a used motorhome

image thumb If You are Looking to Buy a Used Motor HomeAre you planning to buy a motor home? While a substantial number of hopeful motor home owners would like to purchase a new motor home, there are plenty that are unable to do it. If you’re one of those people, like if you’re on a restricted budget, you may wish to think about inspecting used motor homes. Used motor homes are lovely as they’re frequently much cheaper than new motor homes. If you want to get a used motor home, you want to know whereabouts to look. When referring to purchasing a used motor home, you’ll find that you have a variety of different options. One of your options is to look at your local papers, i. E the classified sections or the auto sections. A big number of motor home owners take out adverts in their local papers when they’re interested in selling their motor homes. You may find motor homes for sale along the side of the road. As well as taking out a paper classified announcement, a sizeable number of motor home owners decide to park their motor homes by the side of the road and place a for sale sign on them. You can be in a position to come across used motor homes for sale by driving past a campground park. Some campground parks will permit their members to publicize their motor homes for sale, regularly along the side of the road. You may also find a massive choice of used motor homes by going to a motor home agent.

A motor home agency is similar to an auto agent, apart from the only items sold are often motor homes. What’s great about visiting a motor home dealer is that these dealers frequently have a massive choice of both new and used motor homes.

This is nice if you haven’t begun to choose whether you’d like to purchase a new motor home or a used one.

As well as traditional motor home agencies, you might also want to consider stopping by your automobile agencies. It isn’t odd for a motor home to be used as a trade in for a new automobile, wagon, lorry, or SUV.

Though you will have a complicated time finding auto agents that have used motor homes for sale, it is more than possible for you to find some that do. Used motor homes may also be found for sale on the web. When using the web, you’ll find that you have a range of different options. For a start, you may wish to checkout the net sites of local papers. Many papers are now making online web sites ; web sites that commonly include a classified section or a vehicle section. You can be capable of finding online web sites that are typically known as online classified web sites. These web sites are built to let owners sell their stuff, like a motor home. As per using the Net, you might also want to contemplate performing the standard net search. You might need your standard net search to incorporate a phrase like "used motor homes for sale." When performing the standard web search, you will come across the net web sites of motor home agents that have used motor homes for sale. You will also come across some web sites that were made by motor home owners who are wanting to sell their own motor homes.

As is obvious, there are a range of different ways you can go about finding used motor homes for sale. While it is good to know where you’ll be able to find used motor homes for sale, you also must know what to search for in a motor home. Before buying a used motor home, you might like to spend some time to research the motor home in question , most likely even on the web. This research may help to economize and hinder you from squandering your money on a poor valued motor home.
