Class B motor homes can be the perfect way for a traveling couple to combine the excitement of seeing and experiencing new places with the comfort and familiarity of home surroundings. Although these recreational vehicles are relatively small, and are as easy to drive as a standard van, they are surprisingly comfortable and roomy inside. You will be able to live in just as much comfort and luxury as you would at home, but with a changing scene outside whenever you choose to have one.

One factor must be mentioned before we start, and that is that of family. If you have other family members who may want to come with you on vacation from time to time, you may be tempted to buy a larger vehicle than you really need. This is never a good idea, as unless the family member will be coming with you frequently, you will just be paying for extra space you don’t need. It is a much better idea to look after your own needs, and then rent a motor home should you need any extra space for a one off trip.

Once you have finally made the choice that a class B RV is what you need, you can begin comparing models and prices. Be sure to look for a model which will give you plenty of living space, as there are many of them to choose from. You should be looking for a motor home which has a bathroom, changing facilities, living room and bedroom. Make sure that there is enough room to carry what you need with you, and be especially careful if you are disabled or have other special needs.

Modern technology has made it easier than ever before for people to carry their world with them as they travel. If you are a music lover, for example, you will be able to digitize your entire collection and store it on a hard disk drive which will fit in your coat pocket. If your passion is films, you can do a similar thing, although you will need plenty of storage capacity. Even books can be scanned and stored electronically. Modern notebook computers and cell phones also let you keep in touch with friends and family in a way which was never possible only a few short years ago.

If you are looking at your class B motorhome as a large part of your future, you may wish to consider renting a couple of models and taking a vacation in each. This will give you real world experience which you can then use in making the final choice as to what to buy. As with buying a regular home, there is often something you cannot quite define which makes one model feel more comfortable and suitable than another. Once you are sure, take your choice from the great many well specified class B motor homes.

me and my friends are taking a trip and we would like to know if there are certain specifications for the rental? does anyone know?

I’m not sure about the age requirement but as to the licensing a standard license is good. If you get up to the extremely large ones like the bus size then you have to upgrade your license. Most states that kicks in by gross weight and is generally around 26,000 Lbs.
