i had this, it was awesome! I used to sit on it. they made toys sturdier back in tha day. ;0)
I guess I got mine around 1981 or so. I never begged so hard for anything in my life, except for lee press on nails.
I had the 90′s version of this. Had it on my christmas list in 95, through a tantrum when I didn’t get it, got it Christmas 96, and was asking for the similar airplane in 98. My poor parents.
And I’d like to know just what Skipper and Ken are doing while Barbie is there all by herself fixing dinner in the kitchen, getting dishes out and setting the table.

I had this too! I got it for xmas, and it took my dad hours to put it together and apply the 100+ stickers to the sides. I “renovated it” by carpteting it with red fun fur carpeting (remember that stuff?)
I had one of these in the 80s I played with it none stop! I bought one off ebay last year so I could relive my childhood again! Barbie is the greatest! I still collect Barbies even though I’m 36!
Finally! A Barbie “biggie” accessory that I actually owned (thanks to Gram & Gramps). When friends came over to play, I’d generously offer them the Town House (with the cool yellow elevator!) while my Barbie moved into the motorhome … or the Barbie Star Traveler.
